HQ Extension Fundraising

Why did we need an extension?

We had out grown our old space and had waiting lists in all sections. A larger Scout HQ has allowed us to reduce waiting lists because we can now fit more young people in! We are also able to improve the quality of things we can do in a meeting. We now have a larger kitchen, our old one could only fit 3 or 4 people in at a time. We also now have a second smaller meeting room. This allows us to work with smaller groups and run different activities simultaneously, whatever the weather.

How much money did we need to raise?

We needed to raise £130,000, We did this with lots of hard work, the generosity of the community, various grants and a private loan. We have now also paid the loan back in full.

How you can help us

You can help us just by shopping online. Shop with your favourite stores and raise a donation for Goudhurst Scout Group - all without charging you a penny more. Just click on the banner below to register.

You can also support us by buying a ticket in Tunbridge Wells Lotto. TW Lotto is a weekly lottery that raises money for good causes in Tunbridge Wells and we are one of those causes. Tickets for the lottery cost £1 per week and if you buy the tickets on our page, we get 50p of each ticket sold (Please note, when you buy tickets online, you will have to buy one ticket for 4 weeks).
