We are one of 6 groups within the Weald District in Kent. We have active sections for Beavers, Cubs and Scouts, catering for boys and girls from ages 5¾ to 14 years old. We meet weekly at Goudhurst Scout Hut in School Lane during term time, with lots of other activities at weekends and school holidays.

Scouts provides activities and development opportunities for young people through it's Balanced Program, which promotes their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential. At Goudhurst Scout Group activities include camping outdoors, hiking, water and sports activities, and holidays both in the UK and abroad. There are over 28 million members worldwide in 216 countries and territories with the Scout Law and Promise at the heart of the Movement, and this applies to every country. Scouting is about making new friends and trying different things.

2nd - 9th June 2012 (Summer Half Term)	Cycling trip to Holland - minimum age 12.5 years old, £210 each. Renting bikes locally, travelling an average of 20 miles per day - but will accommodate ALL abilities. Staying at www.ragayredoz.nl
21st July -3rd August 2012	Open to all, Summer camp in Norfolk, £190 each, adventurous activities etc. One wee alternative at £120.

£50.00 raised - Well done to the beavers, who have raised £50 for the church

Remembrance Sunday - Thank you to everyone who came along, there was an excellent turn out. Particular thanks to those who carried the flag. Hopefully next year will be warmer and drier!
